Julia is currently in the running to win the Entrepreneur Impact Award and she needs your vote! Aside from being a full time photographer, and business owner, one thing you may not know about Julia, is that she is making quite the impact in her community. Her wedding planning business, Pop Up Wedding Victoria, is an incredibly smart and economically sustainable business model. Pop Up Wedding Victoria offer couples the chance to elope in style, with an all inclusive, affordable wedding. With multiple weddings happening on the same day, couples are able to share the costs and enjoy some of Victorias most desirable venues and vendors for a fraction of the cost. If you have ever planned a wedding, then you will know that it's a privilege these days. For most, the cost of a wedding has made the "dream day" that everyone deserves out of reach. Not only are annual price hikes unsustainable, but the waste from these events are too. Julia Loglisci has built a solution, and is up for an impact award as a result. VOTE now and help Julia become the Entrepreneur of Impact, appear in Forbes magazine, and win $25,000! Follow this link to vote and for more information.

A little more about me…

In 2012, I graduated from Camosun College in Victoria, BC, where I received my Diploma in Communications. Driven towards a career as a broadcast journalist, it wasn’t until after college where I found myself falling in love with the art of photography. Right after school, I was hired to write and shoot for a local tattoo and culture lifestyle magazine, which really kick started my career. I then spent time traveling the world and living in many other big cities, working and gaining experience as a photographer, which eventually was the reason why I came back home to Victoria.

After working for the past 15 years as a freelance photographer, I am now the proud owner of two businesses; Julia Loglisci Photography and Pop Up Wedding Victoria.

I have been directing my energy towards shooting weddings, boudoir and lifestyle portraits, but I also really enjoy shooting real-estate and neighbourhoods for developers. I am proud to call Victoria, B.C. my home, where there is no shortage of work and inspiration. I love what I do and I'm very fortunate that I get to pursue my passion as a career.
